FEDERICO ARCELLI
Center for International Governance Innovation (CIGI) Senior fellow
Angelo Federico Arcelli is a Partner in the Public Policy practice of Oliver Wyman.
Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, he held several positions in Risk Management, Evaluation Department at European Investment Bank ("EIB") and from 2004 – 08 was senior adviser to the vice president of EIB and was senior advisor to the EIB governor for EBRD (2006-2008).
In 2008-2009 he has been adviser and member of the Executive Board of the World Bank and in 2009-2010 adviser in the Independent Evaluation Group (“IEG”), part of the World Bank Group.
He served as a member in the Italian Government consultative committee (“observatory”) in the Department of European affairs, Prime Minister's office, on the projected EU constitutional treaty (2003-2004). In the same Department he has then been a member of the consultative observatory on EU citizenship (2004-2005).
Federico holds a degree in economics (MSc) from Bocconi University (Milan) and a PhD in economic history from the same university.
He is currently a full professor at Università Marconi (Rome) and a senior fellow at the Center for International Governance Innovation (CIGI,Waterloo, ON, CN).
He has also academic position at Link Campus University (Rome ) and Università Cattolica (Piacenza).
He has been senior fellow at the Center for Transatlantic Relations of SAIS Johns Hopkins (Washington, DC) in the period 2012-13.
