Single Resolution Board Senior Resolution Expert in the Policy Directorate
Vanessa is a Senior Bank Resolution Expert in the SRB Directorate Resolution Policy Development and Coordination. She is in charge of developing policies and methodology for the SRB’s resolution activities, in cooperation with national resolution authorities, the European Banking Authority, the European Central Bank and the European Commission.
Prior to joining the SRB in 2017, Vanessa worked as the Head of Regulatory, Consolidation and Statutory reporting at the Bank of New York Mellon SA/NV, where she was responsible for the CRDIV implementation and involved in the capital and liquidity planning, stress testing, recovery and resolution planning activities.
From 2007 to 2014, Vanessa assisted banks with the implementation of regulatory requirements as a Senior Manager within the Governance, Risk and Compliance department of PwC.
She holds a Master’s degree in business administration and a complementary degree in accounting and auditing.
